Fresh Crush And Rise coffee
Burr grinder
6-cup Chemex
Chemex paper filter

The Basics
Ratio: 1g coffee : 15g water
Grind: Medium-coarse, like rough sand or sea salt
Water Temp: 93-96ºC (just off the boil)
Time: 4-5 minutes
How to Brew

Rinse the filter with hot water and discard the rinse.

Add your ground coffee and gently shake to level.

Start your timer. Pour about 80g of water to bloom the coffee, then wait 45 seconds.

Slowly pour the rest in circles. Take your time, it’s part of the process.

Serve, sip, and notice the details.
